Battle for Every Ball: Magnificent Victory of BiH over Slovakia

In the second round of the pre-qualifications for the 2019 World Cup in China, the BiH basketball team defeated Slovakia with a score of 84:71. The fourth quarter brought a battle for every ball from both teams. BiH basketball players had spectacular plays where teamwork was evident. The audience rewarded them for it, writes the Patria agency.

In the first half, Džanan Musa shone, scoring 22 points against the Slovaks, followed by Lazić and Vrabac.

The second half of the match saw a furious game from our selection, which took a double-digit lead in the third quarter, reaching +14 at one point. In the third quarter, on the wings of Musa and Lazić, we made a 10:0 run.

The final quarter was dynamic, and Musa finished the game with 32 points. He was followed by Lazić with 15. For the Slovaks, Rancik was the most effective with 11.

Our selection plays its next pre-qualification match on Wednesday against Armenia, also in Sarajevo.

It should be noted that tonight's game was led by players under 21 years of age. The BiH national team has gained a team for the future.
