The Association of Sports Journalists has so far collected and distributed over 50 tons of aid for the most vulnerable residents affected by catastrophic floods and landslides. Good people, athletes are joining the action daily and bringing trucks of aid to the point in front of the Jordanian Mosque. After Miralem Pjanić, Elvir Rahimić, Sejo Salihović, Vedad Ibišević, this morning Elvir Bolić, former national team captain who was our national team's top scorer before Edin Džeko's emergence, also came to the Association's premises, writes NAP.
After yesterday's visit to the Association, Bolić decided to join the action and, with the Association's volunteers, bought the most needed items in shopping centers. Given that the Association had a transport problem, Medimpex owner Šemso Mujezin offered his truck to transport the humanitarian aid today.
The convoy has departed for Maglaj and the endangered areas in the Zenica-Doboj Canton. Incidentally, Muhamed Konjić is also with the sports journalists this time and will travel with them, delivering aid to those who need it most at this moment.
