Bolić and Konjić First to Enter Krsno Polje, Locals Delighted by Visit

Muhamed Konjić and Elvir Bolić, former captains and national football team players, yesterday led a humanitarian aid convoy of the Association of Sports Journalists, being the first to enter Krsno Polje, a village in the Maglaj Municipality with a 100 percent Serb population, writes the Patria News Agency.

- The people were immensely happy about our arrival. And, real delight ensued when they recognized Konjić and Bolić. Honestly, we did not expect such a welcome. The people wanted to host us as if nothing had happened – say ASN representatives.

Otherwise, Konjić and Bolić have been involved in organizing the aid collection campaign with the Association of Sports Journalists from the beginning, which transported about 50 tons of aid to Maglaj, Žepče, Janja, Orašje, and other crisis areas.
