Truck blockade continues, RS MoI does not allow it

(Patria) - The announced blockade of BiH border crossings by carriers from the "Logistika" Consortium began this morning.

As can be seen in the photos, carriers have already started with the blockades.

Carriers emphasize that they are forced to take this step due to rigorous rules that limit their stay in the Schengen area to 90 days, after which they face entry bans.

The RS Ministry of Internal Affairs has banned the border blockade, carriers told us on the spot.

Police officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republika Srpska will undertake all necessary measures and actions to ensure that traffic on the roads of Republika Srpska proceeds smoothly and without delays tomorrow.

- In accordance with the conclusion adopted by the Government of Republika Srpska at tonight's telephone session, the Ministry of Internal Affairs will not allow the announced blockade of borders and protest by carriers with freight motor vehicles announced by the "Logistika" Consortium to endanger the normal flow of traffic, as well as the unimpeded transport of goods and services. We appeal to the "Logistika" Consortium to respect legal regulations and not jeopardize the normal flow of traffic on the roads - stated the RS MoI.

In the coming hours, carriers will announce new steps regarding their demands.
