Nearly 300 Bosniak faithful broke their fast last night in one of the buildings of the Memorial Center in Potočari, where the remains of murdered Srebrenica victims were brought on Thursday afternoon, ready for burial on the 20th anniversary of the genocide on July 11, writes the BiH news agency Patria.
The building where the fasters broke their fast last night served as a UN base during the genocide, responsible for the deaths of more than 8,000 Bosniaks on July 11, 1995, including a large number of women and children.
The iftar for Bosniak returnees was organized with the help of the humanitarian association Svjetlo from Sarajevo.
