Former ARBiH captain objected to Izetbegović for taking photos while victims' names were being read

Former captain of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Suad Ibrahimović, was bothered by Bakir Izetbegović taking photos with fans during July 11 in Potočari, so he told him so, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

During the commemoration of the 19th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide and the burial and funeral for 175 identified victims of the Srebrenica genocide, a group of young men took the opportunity to take a photo with the Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegović.

However, this bothered a demobilized soldier and former captain of the Army of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina from Tešanj. Ibrahimović passed by Izetbegović's security, stopped him for a moment and told him that he thought „it might have been more courteous to listen to the names of the victims rather than take photos here, if you agree with that“.

Izetbegović listened to him and said he agreed with him and thanked him for the suggestion. This video material was published on the YouTube internet channel. You can watch it HERE.

Suad Ibrahimović also appeared in public in March this year when he laid down his ranks on the steps in front of the ceremonial entrance to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina,  thus expressing dissatisfaction with the government's attitude towards the soldiers who defended the country.

He said then that he had tried several times to reach Izetbegović, but when he did not succeed, he left the ranks at the entrance to the Presidency, writes Patria.
