Former OSA Director Denied Guilt for Abuse of Office

(Patria) - "I plead - not guilty," said Mehmedagić, who was the director of OSA from November 2019 to February 27, 2023.

According to the indictment, Mehmedagić acquired property benefits in the amount of 293,000 marks by receiving a salary for a position for which he did not meet the prescribed requirements.

Given that he denied guilt, the trial of Mehmedagić should begin within the next 30, and at the latest 60 days.

In December 2023, Mehmedagić was arrested along with the suspended president of the BiH Court, Ranko Debevec, on charges of abuse of office and forgery of official documents. No prosecutorial decision has been made in that case yet.

In a separate case in 2021, Mehmedagić was acquitted of charges that he abused his office to reveal the identity of an anonymous sender of a complaint against him, reports detektor.ba.
