Former EP candidate: I fear for the safety of Muslims in Europe after the Paris attack

Slovenian human rights activist Faila Pašić-Bišić, a former candidate for the European Parliament, said she fears that yesterday's terrorist attack on the editorial office of the French magazine Charlie Hebdo will cause attacks on Muslims across Europe, even though yesterday's crime, in which 12 people were killed, is not a Muslim crime, reports the BH News Agency (NAP).

- The crime is not mine, nor ours, nor Islamic, nor Christian. The attack on Charlie Hebdo will cause numerous attacks on Muslims in Europe, who do not want to identify with violent acts in the name of faith – Pašić-Bišić wrote on her Facebook profile.

- All of us who strive for a multi-religious, multicultural and tolerant European society have been slapped in the face again – she added.
