Bishop Komarica: Politicians in BiH Behave Like Gods

BANJA LUKA, (Patria) - Banja Luka Bishop Franjo Komarica said in an interview for Federal Television on Monday that politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina behave like gods, while at the same time not caring at all about the peoples living there. 

When asked why Dragan Čović, president of HDZ BiH, does not do something for Croats in Republika Srpska, given that he is inseparable from Milorad Dodik, or why the Republic of Croatia, which also claims to care for Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina, does not do something, Bishop Komarica said that when Bosnia and Herzegovina is mentioned, often only the Federation is thought of, while an entire people in half of the country is neglected.

"If I am not a Croat to him, if Croats in Republika Srpska are not Croats, if he sees Croats only as an electoral machine, then that is a terrible defiance of God," Komarica said, among other things.

Komarica stated that politicians in Bosnia and Herzegovina cannot be responsible only for their own peoples, but must also care for other peoples.

"...these people are in the service of evil, in the service of injustice," said Komarica, noting that they will indeed have to face God one day."

Speaking about the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the bishop said that the peoples in BiH cannot think normally because they have been breathing a bad socio-political atmosphere for too long.

"The peoples in BiH are not yet politically mature enough to take their destiny into their own hands," said Bishop Komarica, Patria reports.
