Bingo takes over Interex facilities, all employees will keep their jobs

The Competition Council of BiH held a session on November 13, where a decision was adopted on the permissibility of the concentration of economic entities "Bingo" d.o.o. Tuzla, "C.D.E.B." d.o.o. Sarajevo, and "European Retail Company" d.o.o. Bijeljina, reports the BiH news agency Patria.

- The Competition Council, by analyzing relevant data collected during the procedure, assessed that the implementation of the concentration will not significantly increase the market share of the participants in the relevant market of retail trade of food products and consumer goods in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and will not lead to the creation and strengthening of their dominant position - it was announced from KV BiH.

Otherwise, the news agency Patria spoke with several Interex employees who expressed satisfaction with this decision. What makes them particularly happy is that Bingo's owner Senad Džambić will retain the employees, thus ensuring their livelihood.

- You see what happened to Tuš employees. We have to provide for our families, but we were happy when we learned that we would not lose our jobs - long-time Interex employees told us on condition of anonymity.
