KREŠEVO, (Patria) - Stjepan Biletić (71) is one of four blacksmiths in Kreševo who know how to shoe an egg.
The egg symbolizes the beginning of life, and the Kreševo horseshoe egg depicts happiness and prosperity.
The egg is also a symbol of Easter, so Biletić has more work in the last few days as Easter approaches, the biggest and most important Christian holiday, which celebrates one of the central dogmas of faith, the resurrection of Jesus.
Biletić wants this old craft to be recognized by UNESCO as part of world cultural heritage.
