Bilal Šuman: I Feel We Defeated Ourselves

(Patria) - The handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was defeated in the second round of the group stage of the European Handball Championship by the national team of Portugal with a score of 27:24.
After the match, coach Šuman was not satisfied with the seven-on-six play, and our national team made a large number of technical errors during those moments, which also cost us against Norway.

"This seven-on-six play was based on finishing from the backcourt and wings, but it turned out that by throwing the ball to the pivot, we were giving them attacks. We had a chance in the second half to build a lead. I now have the feeling that we defeated ourselves in a way," Šuman said after the match.

Our national team plays its next match against France on Tuesday, starting at 6:15 PM.
