(Patria) - The entrance to the A-1 highway at the Podlugovi toll station is closed due to a traffic accident involving two trucks.
Most roads in Bosnia and Herzegovina are dry and occasionally wet.
Driving conditions are favorable, with increased traffic. We urge drivers to adjust their driving and speed to the road conditions, and to pay special attention when passing through school and residential zones. We also ask other road users to comply with traffic regulations.
Movement of all vehicles over the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total weight of up to 3.5 tons can use the road via Grebak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of gravel road), while trucks must use the route via Rogatica and Ustiprača.
Construction of a noise barrier is underway on the A-1 highway section Sarajevo North-Podlugovi, due to which traffic is diverted to the overtaking lane.
Due to soil monitoring work on the A-1 highway section Sarajevo West-Lepenica, in the area of the Lepenica interchange and the Igman tunnel, traffic is two-way, using the right lane.
On the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, traffic is permitted for vehicles up to 3.5 tons, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons remains suspended.
Passenger vehicle waiting times at border crossings are short.
Due to passenger registration under the new European Union entry/exit system (EES), longer waiting times at border crossings are possible.
The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
