Bosnia and Herzegovina tonight against Cyprus, only victory is an option

The national football team of Bosnia and Herzegovina is playing a qualifying match for the World Cup in Russia next year tonight in Nicosia against the home team Cyprus, writes Patria News Agency.

Our players had their last training session last night before this extremely important match in which victory is imperative if we want to keep our chances of qualifying for Russia.

- Cyprus is a quality opponent. It is a match where things will not be decided quickly, and we need to know when to attack, but also to defend if necessary. We have to play a complete game, aggressively, with commitment and a lot of desire. We have the quality, and it is up to us to show it all - said our team's coach Mehmed Baždarević on the eve of the match.

The Dragons enter this match with 11 points, which is one point less than Greece, or five points less than leaders Belgium. The calculation is clear until the end; if they want to go to Russia, our national team players have no right to slip up.

The atmosphere in our team, which prevailed at the gathering and training sessions, also gives optimism, and in the duel with Cyprus, coach Baždarević will not be able to count on the injured Kenan Kodro.

Our national team player Ognjen Vranješ is very optimistic ahead of tonight's duel with the Cypriots.

- We are all aware of how much this match means to us and we will be ready for it. With tonight's victory, we would resolve a lot. I don't believe the Cypriots will have more motivation than us. We know our goal, we are preparing for the World Cup in Russia, and we are looking in that direction - Vranješ said.
