BiH, with full Skenderija support, seeks victory against Armenia

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team is playing its third qualifying match for the 2019 World Cup in Skenderija tonight, writes Patria News Agency.

Our national team's opponent is Armenia, which does not have a significant basketball tradition, but possesses an extremely high-quality team.

Although the predictions before the start of the pre-qualifiers gave Armenia the least chance in the group, this selection is currently at the top of the group with two maximum victories after two rounds played.

The national team is composed of three Americans with Armenian passports and a large number of players who are Armenian migrants, raised and educated in America where they learned to play. Most of them do not have extensive experience playing on European courts, which is why they represent a complete unknown to all opponents.

Our national team, with a brilliant performance against Slovakia in Skenderija, showed that this generation of players can be seriously counted on, and that they deserve a chance to prove themselves.

Coach Duško Vujošević, for the umpteenth time, emphasized that these are young players, and it is completely unrealistic to expect them to play error-free games without fluctuations. Therefore, they need strong public support in every match, as is expected in tonight's game.

The coach announced that our best player, Džanan Musa, will be ready for the match. Following Vujošević's statement, a picture of Musa receiving an infusion appeared. However, there is still hope that Musa will be ready for the match.

The match in Skenderija is being played tonight at 8 PM.
