Bosnia and Herzegovina opens World Cup qualifiers in Sweden, Vujošević's players believe in a good result

The Bosnia and Herzegovina national basketball team begins pre-qualifications for the 2019 World Cup tonight in the Swedish city of Norrköping, reports the Patria agency.

The selector of our national team, Duško Vujošević, had quite a few problems assembling the team, as almost all of his key players declined to play for the national team for various reasons.

This summer, we will not see Teletović, Nurkić, Gordić, Kikanović, Đedović, Stipanović, and other recent stars of the team in the national jersey.

Instead, the selector has at his disposal some new, young players eager to prove themselves, and most of them have, by force of circumstance, received a chance to play in the national team jersey for the first time in their careers.

The driving force of the new national team should be Džanan Musa, Alex Renfroe, Nikola Gajić, and the new captain of the national team, Adin Vrabac.

Sweden is the favorite in tonight's match, which selector Vujošević himself admitted, but our young team has the strength and quality to cause an upset and open the qualifiers with a win.

In addition to our team and the Swedish national team, our group also includes Slovakia and Armenia. The two best teams will secure advancement, which, despite all the problems with assembling the team, should not be a problem for our basketball players.
