Bosnia and Herzegovina to host the World Fly Fishing Championship in June next year

Bosnia and Herzegovina will host the World Fly Fishing Championship next year - a discipline in sport fishing, confirmed at the meeting of the Sport Fishing Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).

The competition in the most popular discipline of sport fishing in the world will be held from June 16 to 21, 2015 in the municipalities of Jajce, Ključ, Donji Vakuf, Šipovo and Ribnik.

In recent years, the rivers of Bosnia and Herzegovina have attracted an increasing number of sport fishermen, who come to Bosnia and Herzegovina from all over the world.

Tourism experts estimate that the 35th World Fly Fishing Championship will greatly contribute to the promotion of the natural beauties of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Tourism, according to their assessments, represents a great economic potential of the country, writes NAP.
