BiH in a group with Belgium, Greece, Estonia and Cyprus

The draw for the qualifying groups for the 2018 World Cup in Russia was held on Saturday in St. Petersburg, and the national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina was placed in group H with the selections of Belgium, Greece, Estonia and Cyprus, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

Coach Mehmed Baždarević believes that our team had a favourable draw.

- We are satisfied with the group because it could have been tougher. Belgium is the favourite. The other teams are not better than us, but that must be proven on the field. I was hoping for teams we haven't played before, but we have to be satisfied like this too because the group is at our level - said Meša.

Vice-president of the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina Darko Ljubojević shares a similar opinion.

- We can be satisfied because we could have had an easier draw, but also a much tougher one. We will play against teams we know and have played before. Belgium is the favourite, but we also have the quality to qualify for the World Cup.
