Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated by Mexico in a good game

SAN ANTONIO, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team was defeated by Mexico in San Antonio with a score of 1:0.

The Mexicans opened the match brilliantly. Already in the 20th second, Dos Santos had a chance, and a minute later Hernandez, but it remained 0:0.

In the 15th minute, a chance for our team, Lončar headed wide after a cross from Zakarić. Five minutes later, Medunjanin also tried from a free kick, but it remained 0:0.

The 32nd minute was played when the Mexicans executed a fine move, but Vela's shot in the finish was stopped by Šehić. Until the end of the first half, there were a few more half-chances on both sides, but the teams went to the break without goals.

In the second half, Mexico opens with two good chances for Dos Santos and Vela, however, luck was on the side of our team. The Mexicans crowned their better play in the 65th minute with a goal by Ayala after a corner.

Five minutes after the goal, Ćavar tries for our national team, but the ball goes wide. In the 76th minute, another chance for Mexico, but Pirić was secure. The 81st minute was played when Pizarro tried to surprise Pirić with a clever shot, but our goalkeeper was not fooled.

From the 84th minute, our team was left with a player less after a second yellow card received by Bekić.

Until the end of the match, there were no excitements and the Mexicans recorded a triumph, and this was also the first defeat for the bench of Bosnia and Herzegovina under Robert Prosinečki.
