BiH defeats Liechtenstein 3:0

Tuzla's Tušanj Stadium hosted the football national team of BiH for the first time today, playing a match against the selection of Liechtenstein. The match ended with a score of 3:0. In the very first minute, with a goal by Vedad Ibišević, we took the lead, and the fans applauded the goal. The second goal was also scored by Ibišević in the 14th minute of the match, while the third was put into the opponent's net by captain Edin Džeko in the 24th minute, writes the BiH news agency Patria.

The stands of Tušanj Stadium were filled to capacity, and the Dragons had support despite the heavy rain that fell throughout the second half.

The city of salt has been on its feet since the morning hours. Incidentally, although this was a friendly match, it was the first one after the World Cup in Brazil. It was a good test for both the players and coach Safet Sušić ahead of the qualifiers for EURO 2016.

Also, this is the first match the national team is playing with a changed lineup, as former captain Emir Spahić, Zvjezdan Misimović, and Senijad Ibričić retired some time ago.

The weather conditions in the second half certainly affected the Dragons' game, but given that this match has no significant result, it was safer to avoid possible injuries before the match against Cyprus on September 9th at Bilino Polje in Zenica, writes Patria.
