BiH vs. France to conclude European Championship appearance

(Patria) - The handball national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina will conclude its appearance at the European Championship in handball (EURO EHF 2020) today with a match against France.

Bilal Šuman's team, in their debut at the European championships, recorded two losses in the first two matches. The "Dragons" were defeated by hosts Norway 26:32 in the first match of group "D" in Trondheim, while in the second match, Portugal's team was better (24:27).

The BiH handball players will conclude their first, historic appearance at the EURO today when they face the multiple world and European champions, the French national team. This match has no result significance as both teams had already lost their chances to advance to the next round of the competition before the third round.

The "Tricolors" will not remember this European Championship fondly, as for the first time in history, they did not pass the group stage of the European championships.

On the other hand, our handball players, despite two losses, did not disappoint in their first appearance at the final tournaments of the European championships. This is especially true for the second-round match against Portugal, when Šuman's "Dragons" were very close to a great victory.
