Bosnia and Herzegovina Advances to Second Round of European Championship, Musa Shines Again with 23 Points

The cadet basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina managed to defeat Italy with a score of 77:65 today, securing their place in the second round of the European Championship held in Lithuania, reports the BH News Agency Patria.

From the very beginning of the match, it was evident that our boys were superior on the court, and at the end of the first quarter, the score was 25:14. The game was practically over when our team had a dominant second quarter with a score of 25:5, leading 50:19 at halftime.

Adi Alikadić's three-pointer from the center of the court likely dealt a crucial blow to the Italians. Entering the final ten minutes, our team held a 66:40 lead.

The Italians made a significant run and managed to reduce our team's lead, but ultimately, quality and the advantage we held prevailed.

Džanan Musa led our team with 23 points, 19 rebounds, and 7 assists, while Njegoš Sikiraš and Sani Čampara each scored 13 points. Lazar Mutić had 10 points and 6 rebounds. On the other side, Guglielmo Caruso had the best performance with 16 points and 13 rebounds.
