BiH granted access to one and a half billion KM through EU digitalisation fund

(Patria) - After the Council of Ministers of BiH, at the proposal of the Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH Edin Forto, supported BiH's accession to the "Digital Europe" programme, today this Agreement received unanimous support from the Presidency of BiH, and its signing can soon proceed.

- Bosnia and Herzegovina will no longer be the only Western Balkan country that is not a member of the "Digital Europe" programme.

By signing the Agreement with the European Commission, interested citizens, non-governmental organisations, public administrations and companies from BiH will have the opportunity to apply for funds totalling 1.5 billion KM.

This provides significant support to the process of digital transformation in the interest of our citizens and catching up with European standards in this area - said Forto.
