BiH beats South Korea 3-1 on wings of brilliant Višća

JEONJU, (Patria) - The Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team defeated South Korea 3-1 in a friendly match, with all three goals for our team scored by the brilliant Edin Višća.

The start of the match brought more agile play from our selection, but the first real chances were had by the Koreans.

First, Son threatened in the seventh minute, then Yung in the ninth, then Son again in the 11th, but it remained 0:0.

In the 13th minute, after an assist from Todorović, Džeko missed a good chance for the Dragons, and in the 18th minute Šehić made a great save after a shot by Yung. In the 21st minute, another chance for Džeko, with no change to the score.

In the 28th minute, Višća put the Dragons ahead 0:1, but in the next attack, Lee responded with a quick equalizer.

However, in the 45th minute, Duljević found Višća with a brilliant assist, who scored his second goal, and we went into halftime at 1:2.

In the second half, the Koreans entered more agilely, hoping for a quick equalizer. Son had a chance in the 48th minute, but the score remained unchanged.

In the 69th minute, after a quiet period of play, the Koreans threatened again through their best player, Son, but Šehić stopped his shot. A minute later, a shot by Šunjić went over the goal.

Our team had some luck in the 75th minute after an attempt by Lee, remaining 1:2. In the 79th minute, Višća scored a hat-trick from an assist by Bajić to make it 1:3.
