Bosnia and Herzegovina is despite only one win in three matches, the fifth best debutant in the history of the World Cup, according to official statistics, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP).
Despite two defeats, Bosnia and Herzegovina showed brilliant play, but also a fairly solid performance when compared to the results of other countries in their first appearance at the World Cup. The World Cup in Brazil is the first in which only one team, Bosnia and Herzegovina, was a debutant.
A better performance in their first appearance at the World Cup, counting championships after the Second World War, than Bosnia and Herzegovina have only had Senegal, Ukraine, Slovakia and Cuba, while as many as 18 national teams had a worse performance than our national team.
Our Dragons scored four goals and conceded the same number. We won three points from three matches, two defeats and one win, reports NAP.
