BiH to receive vaccines from France

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Bosnia and Herzegovina will receive a delivery of 117,000 doses of Pfizer vaccines sent by France on Friday, December 24.

The government of that country has made the donation of vaccines against Covid-19 one of its priorities, as a sign of solidarity with countries affected by the pandemic and to help accelerate vaccination coverage worldwide.

In April this year, France was the first country to allocate vaccines within the COVAX mechanism and has since committed to donating 120 million doses by the end of the first half of 2022, of which 67 million have already been transferred to COVAX.

France is thus the third country, after the United States and Japan, to have allocated the most doses by quantity within the G7, according to the French Embassy in BiH.
