(Patria) - US President Joe Biden stated yesterday that NATO members will jointly defend every inch of their territory.

Biden, during the NATO summit in Washington, at the beginning of the North Atlantic Council session, assessed that the Alliance, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary, has never been stronger.

- It is no coincidence that 23 NATO members have achieved the goal of investing two percent of their gross domestic product in defense - Biden emphasized.



He emphasizes that Russia has put its economy into a war production status, with the help of China, Iran, and North Korea.

- We must not allow ourselves to fall behind - Biden conveyed.

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg stated that the Alliance's support for Ukraine in the fight against Russia is not an act of charity.

- By supporting Ukraine, we are strengthening our security. It is in our interest, due to the challenges posed by Russia, China, Iran, and North Korea - Stoltenberg added.
