Biden congratulates Bosnia and Herzegovina Statehood Day: End nationalism politics

(Patria) - United States President Joe Biden sent congratulations to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the occasion of Statehood Day, stating that the US remains firmly committed to the sovereignty, territorial integrity, and multi-ethnic character of BiH.

- We remain committed to strengthening the ties between our peoples whose diversity and dynamism have always strengthened our partnership – Biden emphasized at the beginning of his letter sent to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

- Attempts to undermine the Dayton Agreement, attacks on state institutions, and calls for secession undermine the stability and future of BiH. This also poses a threat to citizens and normal living conditions. As you celebrate your country's holiday, I urge you to put your duties before division and to end nationalism politics – Biden states in the letter.

He said that focusing authorities on common visions will ensure a peaceful, prosperous, and democratic future, "the kind that citizens deserve".
