Bibija Kerla arrives at the session: 18 votes for the dismissal of Forto's Government

(Patria) - The session of the Sarajevo Canton Assembly has begun, which also includes a proposal for a vote of no confidence in the Government of Sarajevo Canton. This proposal was explained by Mirza Čelik, who said that 18 representatives submitted this proposal to the procedure.

"The new parliamentary majority has decided so. The Government of Edin Forto has lost confidence," said Čelik.

As agreed at the meeting held on January 20 by two political blocs, the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), the Union for a Better Future (SBB) and the Democratic Front (DF), and People and Justice (NiP), Our Party (NS), the Independent Bosnian-Herzegovinian List (NBL) and independent representatives, the session will be chaired by Danijela Kristić (NiP).

Bibija Kerla, a representative of the Democratic Front (DF) in the Sarajevo Canton Assembly, arrived at the session even though she had been in hospital in previous days.

32 representatives are present.

Edin Forto explains what the Cantonal Government has accomplished in the past period.

"You will rarely see a document that brought together a palette of differences, who decided to work according to a detailed program. I think that is the way and the way that the future government and all others should follow, to clearly tell citizens what will be done," said Forto.

He added that they faced great public pressure and had to show in a short time that they are a new story and a change.

"Every mistake was scrutinized. Here they are, the same as them. The opposition also did its job well. Our representatives also criticized us. That increased media attention, where we were not allowed a single mistake, made our work easier," added Forto.
