BHRT seeks financial support: Here is how you can donate to the Public RTV Service of BiH

(Patria) - After the Radio-Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHRT) launched a campaign on April 11 to preserve the public media service, its goal and the method of providing support have been clarified.

The campaign is aimed at securing financial support at a time when BHRT, due to the long-standing absence of a systemic funding solution, operates under difficult circumstances that directly affect its stability and functioning. The goal is to preserve the continuity of operations, program and technical capacities, as well as the availability of content of public interest to all citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Through this campaign, BHRT addresses socially responsible business entities, institutions, and individuals in the country and the diaspora, inviting them to provide financial support in accordance with their capabilities.

The campaign will last until the end of 2026, while cooperation with legal entities will be further regulated through special contracts.

It is important to emphasize that the funds collected through this campaign do not represent a replacement for the RTV fee. The RTV fee is a legally established model of financing the public RTV system in Bosnia and Herzegovina, while payments within the campaign are exclusively a voluntary form of support in extraordinary circumstances, aimed at preserving the functioning of BHRT until a stable and sustainable systemic solution is established.
