BHRT leases part of RTV building, who will take the 2,000 square meter space?

The public RTV service – Radio-Television of Bosnia and Herzegovina issued on Monday a Public Call for leasing the business building ANEX, an extension of the RTV building in Sarajevo. What remains unclear, and what was not clarified in the conditions of the Public Call, is the purpose of the leased premises, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Namely, this building consists of four floors (basement, ground floor, first floor, second floor) with a total area of 2,000 square meters. As stated in the call, the space can be used for multiple purposes.

- The most favorable bidder is the one with the highest offered rental price per square meter – states the call.

So, does this mean that whoever can make a good offer can lease this space regardless of the tenant's activity?

And the conditions required from tenants when submitting a written offer are: company name, registered office and phone number of the bidder, court registration certificate, tax registration, identification number, amount of offered rent...

As for rental prices, they vary by level.

- For renting the entire business building, prices cannot be lower than 10 KM per square meter. The minimum offered prices per square meter for partial (floor-by-floor) rental of space cannot be lower than 14 KM.

This is not the first time BHRT has leased this part of the RTV building, but the question arises whether the management of this house is completely indifferent to who will lease this space or whether it is more important to cover the losses faced by the Public Service. The drop in collection of the RTV fee for the first nine months of 2014 alone is 9 million KM less, as previously reported on BHT1's Dnevnik.
