BHANSA issues public tender for air traffic controllers

(Patria) - The Air Navigation Services Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BHANSA) has published a public tender for the selection, professional training, and employment of candidates for air traffic controllers, opening up opportunities for a new generation of professionals in one of the most responsible and demanding occupations.

According to BHANSA, the public tender has been issued in line with long-term plans for the development and improvement of the air navigation system and services in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is intended for candidates who possess at least a secondary vocational education and exhibit strong abilities in logical thinking, spatial and visual perception, planning, concentration, and decision-making under pressure.

The profession of an air traffic controller entails a high degree of responsibility, continuous professional development, and teamwork, while simultaneously offering a stable, professional, and internationally recognized career, according to a BHANSA statement.

The selection process includes an English language proficiency test, as well as psychomotor and cognitive assessments, conducted in cooperation with EUROCONTROL, in accordance with the highest European standards.

It is particularly emphasized that the professional training of the new generation of air traffic controllers will be carried out for the first time in BHANSA's own training center, thereby further strengthening domestic capacities and the long-term stability of the air navigation system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
