Bosnian flags at demonstrations in the USA, Bosnians against aggression on Gaza

Bosnians and Herzegovinians have been protesting for days against the latest wave of violence against the Palestinian people in Gaza, but it is little known that our citizens are not only responding to demonstrations in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but are also doing so around the world, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The flags of Bosnia and Herzegovina were waving yesterday on the streets of Chicago (USA), where thousands of demonstrators gathered, demanding an immediate cessation of Israeli aggression against Palestine.

One of the demonstrators from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who spoke to the local media, said that he lives in Chicago precisely because 20 years ago, aggression also affected his country, which forced him to leave his home and his friends. What the Palestinian people are going through now because of Israel, he added, BiH went through two decades ago because of Serbia, and it still feels those consequences today.

Since the beginning of the conflict on July 8, the Israeli army has killed more than 1,000 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Most are civilians, including a large number of children. Israeli military forces are attacking Gaza from the air, sea, and land.

Demonstrators around the world organize protests daily in support of Gaza. As a sign of protest against Israeli violence, some countries have recalled their ambassadors from this country, reports Patria.
