"BH Telecom" prevents abuse with international calls

„BH Telecom“ is preparing an effective mechanism to prevent abuse with sim box devices, which causes millions in losses to the state-owned company and the state as a whole, the Bosnian news agency Patria (NAP) learns.

This company, as confirmed to us from reliable sources, has already procured devices for detecting abuse through which individuals enable making calls from international traffic by illegally using „BH Telecom“ numbers and lines.

Citizens have long been facing problems due to such activities, because they receive calls from numbers in BiH, but these are international calls. According to estimates by the expert services of this company, annual losses due to such activities can reach up to three percent of total revenue! Therefore, BH Telecom has invested in new equipment for detecting abuse that will prevent the money of the state company and citizens of BiH from being lost through such illegal activities.
