BH Telecom Donated KM 191,800 for Culture and Sports Projects

Today, the 39th Shareholders' Assembly of BH Telecom Joint Stock Company was held at the premises of BH Telecom, where, among other things, the Decision on awarding donations to legal entities in 2014 was adopted, reports the Patria News Agency (NAP).

For 2014, BH Telecom allocated a total amount of KM 1,191,800 for donations to legal entities, which is 1 percent of the profit achieved in the previous year.

After the BH Telecom Assembly previously gave its consent to donate KM 1 million to the Federal Fund for Assistance to Disaster-Stricken Areas in the Territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, a tender procedure was carried out for the remaining donation amount of KM 191,800 for projects in the fields of culture and sports.

A total of 585 applications were received for the Public Call, which was published on 09/08/2014, of which 441 applications were received within the deadline and met the General Conditions of the Public Call.

At today's BH Telecom Assembly, the Decision on awarding donations in the amount of KM 191,800 for a total of 179 projects was adopted, including 109 projects in the field of sports with a total value of KM 112,800 and 70 projects in the field of culture with a total value of KM 79,000.

Since 2002, BH Telecom has awarded donations to legal entities in the amount of KM 16,231,534 through its donation decisions.
