
Furniture from Bosnian companies Minalli and Konjuh from Živinice, Wood Team from Ilijaš, Oprema OMO Mostar, is delighting visitors at the 20th GASTO international fair in Split, where hoteliers, caterers, and tourism organizations are exhibiting, writes the Patria News Agency.
The fair opened on Wednesday and will last until March 8th, and is considered one of the most significant fairs of this type in Europe.
The Deputy President of the Foreign Trade Chamber of BiH Bruno Bojić, who was one of the speakers at the fair's opening, drew attention to the importance of preserving and improving the high level of economic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Croatia, especially regarding the obstacles that emerged with Croatia's entry into the European Union.
Furniture for the hospitality industry is one of the best-selling Bosnian export brands, which records better and better results every year. Thanks to this brand, many jobs have been created in BiH to date, and manufacturers continue to invest in production facilities.
On Friday, as part of the fair, a regional meeting of chambers of commerce will also be organized, which will be attended by representatives of the FTC BiH, NAP reports.
