SARAJevo, (Patria) - On Wednesday, one of the most famous BiH furniture manufacturers – the company MS&Wood from Fojnica – was sold on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange. The entire package of shares was sold for 5.8 million KM. This information was confirmed to the Patria News Agency by the previous owner of MS&Wood, Muhamed Pilav, revealing that the buyer is domestic.
The BiznisInfo portal reported that the new owner is the company BH Line, which took over 100 percent ownership from Unipromet Sarajevo.
The owners of BH Line, which was founded this summer, are Damir Muhić and Mirza Hurem. Muhić is the director of the furniture factory Standard Furniture Factory from Ilijaš. Hurem is a businessman and manager from Sarajevo.
MS&Wood is one of the most famous Bosnian-Herzegovinian furniture manufacturers, which, among others, also produces for IKEA. They export furniture to 40 countries worldwide.
Two years ago, MS&Wood decided to split into MS&Wood d.d. for furniture production and trade Fojnica and Nekretnine Miljacka d.d. for real estate business Sarajevo.
As announced by MS&WOOD at the time, the goal of this split was to separate the real estate business from the main activity and to open up the possibility for interested partners to invest in the furniture production business.
