Bosnian citizens in London secure 22 tonnes of aid for Sanski Most

Aid for the population affected by floods in Bosnia and Herzegovina was donated by two British charitable organisations, In Kind Direct and the Bosnian-Herzegovinian Advisory Centre (BHCAC) from London, reports the British dailymail.com, as carried by the Bosnian news agency Patria.

According to BHCAC's proposal, In Kind Direct provided 22.5 tonnes of products, including cleaning supplies, shovels, hygiene products and clothing, which were sent to Sanski Most and distributed to the population.

These products were donated by companies Proctor & Gamble, Amazon and Canterbury Europe.

Sadida Trožić, project manager at BHCAC, said that the arriving aid made life easier for the population immediately after the floods.

-    We are honoured to have worked on this project with In Kind Direct and to have succeeded in securing this valuable donation – said Trožić.   

As Trožić stated, the companies that donated the products also demonstrated social responsibility. In Kind Direct typically seeks donors, and distributes products and goods to British charitable organisations and its beneficiaries. So far, it has helped 6,700 organisations with basic necessities, reports Patria.
