BH-Gas: Gas price reduced by 5%, does the decision of the Sarajevo Canton Government on a 12% increase in heating costs remain in effect?

BH-Gas, upon the proposal of the Company's Management, the Supervisory Board of BH-Gas adopted a correction of the natural gas price for distribution companies, which will amount to 495.00 KM/1000 Sm3 as of August 1, 2017, compared to the current price of 520.00 KM, reports the Patria agency.

- This reduction in the natural gas price for distribution companies was determined based on the decrease in the USD exchange rate and, as such, will be submitted to the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for final adoption. The drop in the natural gas price of approximately 5% is not huge, but it does mean lower expenses for household budgets for the upcoming heating season, and we hope that in the further procedure, cantonal public companies will make corrections in appropriate amounts - stated BH-Gas.

Given that the Sarajevo Canton Government made a decision to increase heating costs by 12.64% effective from August 1, 2017, the question arises whether this decision will be amended.
