Bosnia's Bloc and Coalition for Mostar Discuss Constituent Session of City Council

SARAJevo, (Patria) - At a meeting that began around noon today at the Center for Culture in Mostar, representatives of Bosnia's Bloc and the Coalition for Mostar will discuss the constituent session of the City Council of the City of Mostar, which is expected to be held on February 5.

This information was confirmed to Patria by Arman Zalihić, president of the City Committee of SDP BiH Mostar.

We remind you that local elections were held in Mostar on December 20 for the first time in 12 years.

Thus, the city on the Neretva will soon get its legislative authority, which will consist of representatives of HDZ, Coalition for Mostar, Bosnia's Bloc, HRS, First Mostar Party, and the Coalition "Stay Here - Together for Our Mostar".

It is therefore certain that Mostar will get its legislative authority this week, while a fierce battle will be waged for the mayor as the executive authority, as no agreement is in sight. For now, it is known that the candidate for Bosnia's Bloc will be Irma Baralija, for HDZ Mario Kordić, and for the Coalition for Mostar Zlatko Guzin.
