No data from the District: 155 new cases in BiH, 13 deaths

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - In Bosnia and Herzegovina, 155 new cases of coronavirus were registered in the last 24 hours, and 13 people died, according to data from entity health institutes.

FBiH Entity

In the past 24 hours, 1,011 samples were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH, of which 80 are positive for SARS-CoV-2.

New cases were registered in Herzegovina-Neretva, Central Bosnia, Tuzla, Una-Sana, and Sarajevo Cantons.

A total of 413,230 samples have been tested so far, and SARS-CoV-2 has been confirmed in 79,948 people.

As of today, 67,872 patients have recovered in the Federation of BiH. In the past 24 hours, 526 patients have recovered. Currently, there are 9,545 active cases positive for SARS-CoV-2.

In the past 24 hours, 6 new deaths were reported to the Public Health Institute of the Federation of BiH.

As of today, the number of deaths in the Federation of BiH is 2,531.

RS Entity

Since the last report on the epidemiological situation in the RS entity, in the last 24 hours, 481 laboratory samples were tested at the Institute of Public Health, the University Clinical Center, and Sv. Vračevi Hospital in Bijeljina, and the coronavirus was confirmed in 75 people.

These are 41 males and 34 females, of whom 11 are younger, 49 middle-aged, and 15 are elderly.

According to place of residence, 22 people are from Banja Luka, seven from Gradiška, six from Kozarska Dubica, five from Trebinje, four from Višegrad, three each from Gacko, Pale, Prijedor, and Prnjavor, two each from Bijeljina, Zvornik, Laktaši, Mrkonjić Grad, and Novo Goražde, and one each from Bratunac, Vlasenica, Kneževo, Kotor Varoš, Nevesinje, Novi Grad, Sokolac, Čelinac, and Šekovići.

In the last 24 hours, seven deaths were reported to the Institute of Public Health in which the presence of coronavirus was confirmed. These are four men and three women, elderly, from Trebinje (three people), Nevesinje, Gradiška, Prijedor, and Doboj.

So far, 40,960 cases of coronavirus have been confirmed, and a total of 2,113 people have died with a confirmed coronavirus test.

In the RS, 28,005 people have recovered from the new coronavirus so far, and a total of 188,036 people have been tested.

The total number of hospitalized is 556, with 196 at the University Clinical Center of the Republika Srpska and 360 in general hospitals.

Currently, 4,095 people are under health supervision, and supervision has been completed for 131,362 people.
