Free ice skating at Jaffa rink

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Jaffa ice rink is operating again this year in Sarajevo's Hastahana Park as part of the 9th Coca-Cola Sarajevo Holiday Market, where, thanks to the support of the Centar Municipality, ice skating will be free for citizens and visitors to Sarajevo throughout January and until February 1st.

Special sessions are reserved for elementary school students from the Centar Municipality area, so children from 12 elementary schools will take advantage of the opportunity for organized, free ice skating at the Jaffa rink in Hastahana Park. The Jaffa ice rink covers an area of over 400 square meters and is open every day from 10 AM to 10 PM. Sessions last 75 minutes, with a 15-minute break during which the ice surface is prepared for the next session. This year, the ice rink is specially decorated with light installations and represents a true attraction.

Top-notch technology from the Austrian company AST is used to create the ice at the Jaffa rink, which allows for skating even at temperatures up to 15 degrees Celsius above zero, making Hastahana the epicenter of winter fun again this winter.

From January 10th to February 1st, a Jaffa free ice skating school for children will also be organized at the Jaffa ice rink in Hastahana Park, with the support of the Centar Municipality Sarajevo.
