Free mammography screenings for 50 women in Orahovica near Zenica

SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The Think Pink Association, together with the "Život" association from Zenica, has enabled free mammography screenings for 50 women in Orahovica near Zenica.

The action is organized as part of Health Days, and the entire project is preventive in nature and an integral part of the large "Walk/Run for Health" campaign organized in 2019 and which will be organized again this year, reports BHRT.

The funds collected during this campaign are, among other things, spent on free mammography screenings in rural areas.

"The action in Orahovica went better than expected. The women of Orahovica showed how important prevention is to them, and especially how important it is to have preventive mammography screenings," said Medina Jusić, a volunteer of the "Život" Association and coordinator of activities in Orahovica.

In addition to free mammography screenings, the women of Orahovica had the opportunity to talk with health professionals about numerous topics important for women's health.
