As part of the support it has been providing to non-governmental organizations for years, the Centar Municipality has allocated 6,000 KM from this year's budget to the HOPE*87 Sarajevo Association for the implementation of the project ''Medical support for children with special needs in the Centar Municipality aimed at improving the development of their functional and physical abilities'', reports the Patria news agency.
During June, preparations were completed for the start of medical rehabilitation of children at the Association's clinic located at 51-a Jukićeva Street.
Based on collected data and user selection, the HOPE*87 medical team conducted specialist examinations of seven children who were assigned to the first group of beneficiaries of free medical rehabilitation.
A physical therapy program was created for each child individually, lasting one month per group.
The next group of beneficiaries is planned for August, so the HOPE*87 Association invites interested families from the Centar Municipality area to apply for free medical rehabilitation services for children with special needs.
