Berberović: Sarajevo has the best fans in the Balkans

Džemal Berberović, the former captain of Litex from Bulgaria, has once again put on the jersey of Football Club Sarajevo, the club where he started and gained his football recognition, and as he said, he is overjoyed about returning to the club he loves, writes the Patria News Agency.

- Certainly, changes are visible in a positive sense, because in my time at FK Sarajevo, many things were not right, but I think the time has come for progress, which is also shown by this squad of players ready to do great things – says Berberović.

He added that in the upcoming season, FK Sarajevo should aim to win the double crown.

- We have many quality players and I think we can achieve good results. I think coach Uščuplić will arrange everything well – added Berberović, adding that in the UEFA League, they will do their best to advance as far as possible, regardless of the opponent.

He said about the popular Horde zla that they are the best in the country, and perhaps in the Balkans.

- I am very glad that I will play in front of my fans again and I must say that I will give my maximum on the field. And not just me, but all the footballers on the field. I think we will justify this project and bring a lot of joy to our fans – added Berberović.
