Benjamina Karić Signs Cooperation Agreement with Governor of Cairo

(Patria) - Sarajevo Mayor Benjamina Karić is on an official visit to Cairo. She stated that 17 years have passed since the last meeting of the mayors of these two cities.

She signed an updated cooperation agreement with the Governor of Cairo, Khaled Abdel Aal, and proposed concrete projects.

"The Memorandum of Understanding we signed today will once again unite the rich history, culture, and tradition of Sarajevo and Cairo. At a time when city diplomacy is increasingly present, our cities can become key links in strengthening the relations between friendly countries, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Egypt.

To my great joy, Sarajevo enjoys great favor from the Egyptian people and authorities. Thank you to the esteemed Governor of Cairo for the hospitable and cordial welcome! See you in Sarajevo," said the Mayor.
