SARAJEVO, (Patria) - The first day of the New Year's Street Festival Sarajevo, jointly organized by the Government of KS and the Municipality of Centar, concluded with a concert by the band Karne, who rocked the audience in front of the Sarajevo market.
A series of activities were organized starting at 12:00 PM, with special attention focused on the youngest citizens, to whom Santa Clauses distributed gifts.
On Saturday, January 1, 2022, Almas Smajlović, Dino Đihic, and Sara and Đuro will perform.
On Sunday, the last day of the street festival, at 12:00 PM, the program will be opened by majorettes from Busovača.
On the same day, on the stage in front of the City Market, there will be performances by artisans, Visual POI Spectacle - juggling with LED props, and the bands "Anchy & The Moondogs", "Muki i Emi", and "Rock School Sarajevo" will also perform.
A large number of tourists enjoyed themselves in the city center today, and many took advantage of the beautiful and relatively warm day to get to know Sarajevo.
Many tourists do not mind the lack of a public New Year's Eve celebration, and due to more relaxed COVID measures than in the rest of the region, they will celebrate the New Year in one of the cafes.
