Belmin Bečić Creates True Works of Art Using Spray Paint

Belmin Bečić is 22 years old, studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo, and in his free time he showcases his spray art skills to the people of Zenica on Alija Izetbegović Square, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.

Spray art is a unique form of art that can be found in the world's largest metropolises. A typical spray art painting consists of unusual shapes, planets, landscapes, comets, pyramids, cities, and the like.

- Since I was a child, certainly for 15 years now, I have been painting and drawing. I saw this on the internet and immediately fell in love. When I discovered spray art, I wasn't that good, but after 3 years of work and effort, the results have come - Belmin told NAP.

To engage in spray art, not many tools are needed. It is traditionally done on cardboard, but other sturdy materials such as wood, metal, glass, ceramics, or plastic can also be used.

- As for tools, nothing special is needed. I use brushes, paper, spray, a spatula, and sometimes a paint cap - Bečić says.

The price of one such painting is 10 KM, but due to the difficult economic situation, there are not many buyers. One of Belmin's fellow citizens bought two paintings.

- What he does is truly beautiful. Surely many people don't know how to do this, and it would be better if they knew how to appreciate it more - she stated.
