
(Patria) - The number of co-sponsors of the Srebrenica Resolution has increased to 31 countries.
Belgium is the latest to join the list of co-sponsors, confirmed by the Embassy of Belgium in BiH.
- Belgium is a co-sponsor of the draft United Nations resolution, which would declare July 11 as the International Day of Remembrance for the Genocide in Srebrenica in 1995 - the Embassy stated.

The vote on the resolution on the genocide in Srebrenica is expected to be held in the UN General Assembly in the second half of May.
So far, it is known that the authors of the resolution are BiH, Germany and Rwanda, and the co-sponsors are Estonia, Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Poland, Bangladesh, Croatia, Slovenia, the United States of America, Italy, France, Chile, Liechtenstein, New Zealand, Vanuatu and Turkey, and now Belgium has joined this list.
