Bekan: Professors are blackmailing students, passing grades for election votes

Following frequent reports from our members, sympathizers, and other citizens that blackmailing of students by certain professors who came to their positions through party affiliation or are candidates in the upcoming elections has begun, we want to condemn this as the greatest act of manipulation of young people in the last four years. We will not allow politics to interfere with education, because if politics takes over that too, then there is no life for young people in this country.

Certain professors at the Universities of Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, and Banja Luka are blackmailing their students and promising passing grades if they vote for them or their party colleagues.

After we collect all the information, we will forward it to the Central Election Commission, the Prosecutor's Office, and other competent institutions.

I don't understand how some university professors, despite high salaries, have the audacity and humanity to take parliamentary or ministerial salaries. This is another reason why I want to abolish compensation for parliamentarians at all state levels.

We call on all students not to fall for empty promises, because they are only short-term, and it is better not to accept this immoral offer and become slaves to this criminal group that is ravaging all systems of normal life, according to the statement of the First Party signed by its president Amer Bekan, reports Patria.
